PREVIOUS, 8:35 AM PT: Disney s Maleficent crossed $600M this week , as I reported on Wednesday. But the big news here is that it is also the film that has finally snatched the No. 1 crown from Disneys own Frozen in Japan. I suspected it would do so, and it earned the title with an estimated $7.1M debut. That marks the biggest opening weekend for a live-action import in 2014 and is also the biggest bow for an Angelina Jolie title in the market. Frozen, which was No. 1 for an amazing 16 consecutive frames, added an estimated $1.8M in Japan this weekend (the cume there is a regal $240.8M). That is likely to put it into the No. 3 spot given Edge Of Tomorrow also bowed locally.
It essentially acts as a digital ID that you wear around your wrist. The sensors within the band are also contextually aware and can detect where you are. Here's how Bajarin described one experience: But these RFID bands also had proximity features so when we were on a ride like Splash Mountain where they take a picture of you as you start the downward slide, it automatically sensed from our bands we were on the ride and that picture was automatically sent to our Disney picture site as well. Bajarin notes this mobile identity aspect could be crucial for the success of the iWatch. He even went so far as to say that Apple "would be crazy" seaworld vacation packages not to pursue such an idea. What's more, this concept appears to seamlessly fit with other initiatives Apple is rumored to be prioritizing moving forward. Numerous reports have suggested that the company will dive deeper into mobile payments this year, and Bajarin's reasoning makes the iWatch seem like a perfect fit for that goal. Bajarin writes: Imagine going into a Starbucks and just touching your iWatch or iBand to the terminal, entering a PIN numberand it is charged to your Apple account...Yes, you can do this with an iPhone now but that means taking it out of your pocket or purse and it is only single authentication at present. In a wearable, it is much easier to use for entering the home and for all types of interactions and transactions. New products around the connected home will also supposedly be a big priority for Apple in the coming months. Apple just announced its HomeKit smart home platform for developers earlier this month, and the company is said to be working on its own connected home hardware as well.

But when I was a kid we had movies like The Cat From Outer Space remember that? N: Yes! Theres a generation of us that grew up on Wonderful World of Disney we would watch it every Sunday night! PG: Yep! I watched The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night! N: Where do you find inspiration when youre creating music for a TV show Obviously the show itself, but do you ever pull from outside sources? PG: Well, it has to happen really fast. And they send me the script, so Im working from a script. For instance, there will be a part when Happy will sing a song and sometimes there are lyrics, sometimes there arent. A lot comes from hearing the actors voices in my head and trying to make it funny how they would say it. I was inspired by the Robin Hood movie with Roger Miller it just has great acoustic guitars and singing I used that a lot in reference with this show.

Resort Events Resorts As reported in July , some refrigerators in non-Disney Vacation Club rooms at Walt Disney World are being replaced due to a product defect. All Walt Disney World Resort rooms with the exception of DVC Villas, the family suites at the Art of Animation and All-Star Movie resorts, and the cabins at Fort Wilderness are impacted. In the interim, if you have a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and need a refrigerator for medical reasons, we recommend contacting your resort directly to inquire about availability during your trip. The hotel should be able to arrange for one if your room does not yet have a new refrigerator, but supplies may be limited while they work to replace all of the malfunctioning units. I seen Anna and Elsa with FP+. I highly advise you get your FP+ early or you'll miss out. From Rich T on June 12, 2014 at 8:13 AM If they want tier 1 options for non-thrill, then what do you consider Illuminations and Soarin'? Even Maelstrom was rather tame. and Test Track is literally a fast car ride. Maybe its a capacity issue. But Living with the Land in tier 1 is an absolute joke. That was a great ride, with the best food court and a short line. Its educational, fun and relaxing. But I find it ridiculous to equate that experience with Illuminations, Soarin, or Test Track.
