A Perfect Recipe For National Lasagna Day July 29

LTF806844 Yes, it?s a little warm to crank up the oven, but in honor of National Lasagna Day, we?re proposing that you do just that and make a generous pan of this lasagna Bolognese from the chefs at the new Trattoria al Forno opening this fall at Disney?s BoardWalk . The leftovers are delish. ?Trattoria al Forno is true Italian cooking,? says Chef Lenny DeGeorge , executive chef, Concept Development, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. ?We?ve challenged ourselves to come up with authentic recipes that will wow our guests ? this restaurant is the next chapter in Disney dining.? It?s the attention to quality and detail that sets Trattoria al forno apart, says Chef Lenny. ?We?ve got an authentic prosciutto slicer, we?re making cavatelli pasta in-house, pickling peppers, making mozzarella, and serving spectacular pizza pies,? he says. One of his favorite menu items is the charcuterie, with special cured meats such as hard salami with fennel pollen. DeGeorge grew up in an American-Italian family, but says it was a trip to Italy that forever changed his thoughts on cooking Italian. ?Italian food isn?t about lots of ingredients, less is more,? says Chef Lenny. ?True marinara is simply the best tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and time, lots of cooking time.? This is the recipe at Trattoria al forno, and they add a little house-made chicken stock to fortify the meat dishes. ?I think Italians will approve,? says Chef Lenny. His lasagna recipe, below, is ?moist, rich, and nothing like the Americanized version most of us grew up eating,? says Chef Lenny. Trattoria?s signature dishes like pasta carbonara will be made with fresh eggs, Romano cheese and guanciale (salt-cured pork cheeks), not the Americanized version with bacon, cream and peas. official website The chicken Parmesan is pounded paper thin, breaded and deep fried, with a side of long, flat ribbons of fresh tagliatelli pasta. ?We?re paying more attention to our guests? refined palates,? he says. Lasagna Bolognese from Trattoria al Forno at Disney?s BoardWalk Serves 8 to 10 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes 1/4 cup tomato paste 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Lasagna 1 box no-boil lasagna noodles 2 cups shredded whole-milk mozzarella, divided 1 cup shredded Parmesan, divided For turkey Bolognese: Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Entertainment journalist Kara Warner tweeted that the film was "the most fun I've had watching a movie this yearso wonderfully entertaining and just beautiful." In fact, Disney is so confident in the film they have announced a sequel even before its release, breaking the news at Comic-Con. Dimitrios Kambouris | Getty Images "Audience like it. "The movie business has been around for over a hundred years - there are good years and bad years," he said. The http://hissca.livejournal.com Orlando Sentinel reported continued discussion from various websites claiming the possibility of not only Disneyland's Soarin Over California attraction getting a new high-definition film with new footage (including a possible international section), but also Epcot's Soarin' getting a re-boot, as well. Earlier this year, MousePlanet reported filming in the Disneyland area that was likely tied to the new Soarin Over California film. The new Epcot film may feature more footage from Florida and the Walt Disney World Resort, according to the reports. I know there are tons of rumors about this problem and Ill use this opportunity to set the record straight. I have it on good authority (one I trust anyway) that the issue resides within the attractions infrastructure. The animatronics, when active, included a very rapid movement across a large distance (the lunge and swipe). Over time, that violent movement caused the yeti to torque off two of its mounts creating technical issues that would cause a system shutdown. The restart of the system was/is very time consuming. The situation worsens when the yetis position within the attraction, relative to the tracks and structural frame, is consideredin other words, its not an easy fix and will likely involve bringing in additional steel. The decision then was to hold off repairs until a major refurbishment was required. Kilimanjaro Safaris It looks pretty real to me. Photo by Steve Russo. I really enjoy attractions that change a bit each time you ride them.

Wonderground Gallery Joins Marketplace Co-op At Downtown Disney Marketplace

dissss843723One of my favorite places to shop at Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in California is the WonderGround Gallery . Opened in June 2012 , the distinctive and eclectic contemporary art location showcases unique art collections by some incredibly talented artists. I have great news for fans who love this location like I do. A small assortment of WonderGround Gallery items was recently added to the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney Marketplace . Located just inside the main entrance of the shop, this new addition contains a handful of prints, mugs, magnets, postcards and more from various artists originally featured in the California location. You may recall that the Marketplace Co-Op was designed to be a testing space for new retail products, store concepts and guest experiences. This small addition is a great example of the flexible space inside the location. During my recent visit, I saw a new ?Welcome? sign inside the shop (just look at those letters!). I love the ?The Village Marketplace Co-Operative? label found on the side of the orange crates. Benches were also added to the center area between the boutiques. If you are unable to visit the Marketplace Co-Op in Florida or the WonderGround Gallery in California, you can find select items from the location on our Disney Parks online store . Agent Carter will have Hayley Atwell who will replay her role from Captain America. Though Agents of SHIELD faced many hurdles in the first season, Marvel intends to build on this new development as it recently penned an agreement with Netflix, Inc. ( NFLX ) for online streaming of four of Marvels TV series along with a miniseries. Starting with Daredevil, which is scheduled to premiere at least after a year, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage will follow, with an expectation of enhancing Marvels business. While last year Marvel reacquired Daredevil from Twentieth Century Fox, Jessica Jones was earlier scheduled to be an ABC series. Apart from these four series, the deal with Netflix also includes a miniseries TV event, primarily based on The Defenders to be streamed. Moreover, maintaining its trend in the film business, Marvels TV shows will also work within the same universe. Hence, all the Netflix shows will have interconnections with Agents of SHIELD and The Avengers. Both Disney and Netflix are positive about this partnership, which in turn is dependent upon the audience response to these releases.

aboard. Speaking with EW while filmingThe Avengers: Age of Ultron, the actor was directly asked if hewants to do anotherIron Man. After all, he keeps telling you on and off the screen that heis Iron Man Its down to Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and Ike [Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Entertainment] and Disney to come to us with what the proposal is, and thats on us to agree or disagree. When things are going great, theres a lot of agreement. Sounds like its all down to business for Robert Downey Jr. and his representatives.Since he playedthe first hero to help launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was before Marvel Studios became notoriously tight on their spending and strict on their long-term contracts. Because of that, RDJ is the the highest earning actor in the business (literally, according to Forbes)thanks to his insanely large paydays onThe Avengers andIron Man 3 which both saw the star earning a slice of the back-end. Thats the type of contract that makes Disney and Marvel execs grind their teeth and one theyll never give another actor again. Marvelmanaged to re-sign Robert Downey Jr. for two more appearances inThe Avengers 2 and3 but after Iron Man 3 banked well over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office and became the 5th top grosser of all-time,Iron Man still represents Marvels biggest non-Avengers property. How much are they willing to spend to bring back the actor forIron Man 4? The good news is that Downey Jr. explains that he is having a wonderful time with director Joss Whedon onThe Avengers: Age of Ultron which willhave a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con this week and hes teased more than once that itll be hard to walk away from playing Tony Stark.

This expansion continues the trend of US parks being one-upped by their Japanese counterparts. Ugh! As much as I hate to say it, Dueling Dragons/Dragon's Challenge is a bit of an eyesore when it comes to IOA's Potter.... one has to wonder how much longer it will hang around as part of the Potterverse? Does it really make sense to have a ride with a 54" restriction in a land primarily geared to kids and adults who read kids books? I wonder what their salary is like? Also good thing its all equal focus on the stars because i cant find the Hilary Duff in the room (eg. I agree that they made a sad song too happy, but it is what it is they obviously didnt want to make a music video like they did when they did Circle of Life, A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes, etc. If you wanted to be technical, Jordan Fisher is the only one who appears as if he can actually sing. Maybe if they had a few more Raven-Symones it wouldve been better. Back in the early 2000swhen Raven, Orlando Brown, Anneliese Van Der Pol, Kyla Pratt, Christy Carlson Ramano, ect were all onmost of them were professional singers so the overall songs had much more power. Most of the new Disney Channel stars are just ok singers. Even still, this was a fun little video.

Vote Of The Week: Should Disney Change Epcot's Norway Pavilion To Frozen?

Anna and ElsaVote of the Week: Should Disney change Epcot's Norway pavilion to Frozen? Written by Robert Niles Published: July 18, 2014 at 11:26 AM Building a new attraction based on Frozen makes too much sense for Disney not to do it. The film soon is on track to become the highest-grossing animated movies of all time, passing Pixar's Toy Story 3, Disney's The Lion King and the previous champ, Dreamworks' Shrek 2. When Disney opened a meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa in Epcot's Norway pavilion, the hours-long queue of fans forced Disney to move the duo to the Magic Kingdom's Princess Fairytale Hall . But the crowds kept coming, and now Disney's rolled out a special Frozen-themed summer event at the Disney's Hollywood Studios in an attempt to satisfy the crowds. Photo courtesy Disney Clearly, guest demand justifies a permanent new home for the entire Frozen franchise, not just a character meet-and-greet and a sing-along show. So the question isn't whether to build a Frozen attraction, the question is... where? We've offered some suggestions on where Disney might have the best opportunity to add Frozen to its theme parks. But speculation continues to focus on Epcot's Norway pavilion, the original theme park home for Anna and Elsa. The placement makes sense, at first glance. Frozen's fictional kingdom of Arendelle sure looks like Norway. And the pavilion's current attraction, the Maelstrom boat ride, hasn't drawn people to the park in decades, and only started regularly drawing a significant queue due to crowd-shifting under Disney's new MyMagic+ system. But bringing Frozen to Epcot's World Showcase would mark a significant departure from Epcot's original purpose as a non-fiction theme park . And yet, Disney seems eager to move away from non-fiction themed entertainment, as it builds a new Avatar-themed land at Disney's Animal Kingdom, moves the Lion King show into that park's Africa section, contemplates Frozen in World Showcase, and spitballs more plans for adding Pixar and Disney animation characters throughout Epcot. Let's not forget, however, that Disney isn't the only party with an interest in what happens at Epcot. Those national pavilions are there because nations and corporations paid a lot of money to build and sponsor them. People in Norway have heard the rumors about a Frozen makeover for their nation's pavilion, and some of them are questioning whether Norway, one of the world's richest countries per capita (richer than even the United States), should put up some some extra money to keep the pavilion Frozen-free. Watch this recent report from Norwegian television: The report implicitly raises an interesting question, however: Is it better for Norway to have an Epcot pavilion filled with outdated information and cultural stereotypes, or to allow Disney to reimagine it as unapologetic fiction? It is easier to justify abandoning a non-fiction theme when the non-fiction isn't that accurate anymore, after all. But why must those be the only two choices? What about Norway, or, more likely, a Norwegian company, putting up the cash to renovate the Norway pavilion into something more exciting, more entertaining, and more accurately reflective of Norway today? Yeah, that's not as conceptually easy as just making the whole thing into Arendelle, Florida, but theme park design pros usually rise to a challenge when given the opportunity and means to do it. And Norway is rolling in money, thanks to North Sea oil. So let's make this our Vote of the Week. Let's play theme park designer and share your ideas for Epcot's World Showcase, in the comments. And if you'd like to stretch your theme park design muscles a bit more, remember that we are now taking sign-ups for our Theme Park Apprentice game over on the Discussion Forum. Previously: From Terri Pierce on July 18, 2014 at 11:41 AM Yooo hoooo! Big summer blowout! From O T on July 18, 2014 at 11:59 AM Walt envisioned what is the current world showcase and almost each and every pavilions movie or representation is outdated. That doesn't mean the public don't want to visits these countries and eat and drink around the lake. Sure it's easy to "Magic Kingdom" World Showcase and sell the last bit of integrity left behind by Walt to NOT create new and relevant rides in parks where this ip belongs (MK of DHS) and fix the outdateness of WS, I'm sure all the overpriced food, dinks and souvenirs must be enough to handle these costs. If not all parks eventually lose their uniqueness. From Flavio de Souza on July 18, 2014 at 12:01 PM Please keep EPCOT free of fictional characters!!! The only place where they should be allowed is the Imagination Pavilion. From Rob McCullough on July 18, 2014 at 12:12 PM This is such an interesting problem. I have no issue with characters who come from a nation's history of storytelling, such as Snow White in Germany or Mary Poppins in the UK, appearing in a World Showcase pavilion. Frozen is loosely based on a story from Denmark. As such the Frozen characters really have no reason to be in Norway. It would make about as much sense as building a Pocahontas river rafting attraction at Epcot's Canadian pavilion. The US and Canada are in the same region of the world, but her story is uniquely American. I am a big fan of Frozen, and believe it deserves an attraction of its own. It's a shame it hadn't been released back when plans for New Fantasyland were in the works. That would have been the obvious location for this kind of story. So - Why not build a new Epcot Pavilion for Denmark? It could feature other Hans Christian Anderson characters (except for the Little Mermaid, she's already at MK) and it would add something desperately needed at Epcot - A new pavilion. I love Maelstrom. Yes, it needs some loving and updating, as does the movie at its exit (as do most World showcase attractions). I believe the mission of Epcot should continue to be the presentation of non-fiction themes as the primary goal, but it?s OK to include characters when appropriate. Frozen in Norway just isn?t appropriate. From James Rao on July 18, 2014 at 12:18 PM There definitely needs to be a Frozen attraction. Either add Frozen to Fantasyland (is there any more room?), or to DHS (add Star Wars, too!). From 94.2.247.22 on July 18, 2014 at 12:53 PM My girlfriend has often said that frozen could be incorporated into blizzard beach, which would explain the snow in the sunshine state alot better than they already do. Anyone feel the same? From Anon Mouse on July 18, 2014 at 1:13 PM One word, Akershus. I love this restaurant, but in my last visit, they already appropriated it for Disney Princesses and marketed it as the Royal Banquet Hall. Although the food is still Norwegian, it just has a different ambience to it. When I viewed the video, it universal studios orlando packages is clear that the Norway government doesn't want to contribute $9 million to the project. The Norway tourism office isn't convinced it is the right expenditure of funds. Norway government officials don't care to be involved. The Norway-Disney employee said the Norway-sponsored rehab funds are returned (not being spent), thus ensuring Disney is already making plans to do the conversion to Frozen. The details are still not entirely clear to me. The popularity of Frozen means Disney won't let the opportunity to go to waste. There is no time to solicit bids from Norway's government or business sector to fill the void. The only question is how fast can Disney react. Will the rehab be a mere Frozen overlay or will there be a bigger makeover with a new track ride system for Maelstorm. Then what happens to the other World Showcase pavilions? Will China get a Mulan makeover? Will Germany get Snow White? (Unlikely with the new dwarf's coaster.) Maybe France should get Ratatouille. Epcot has long suffered from an identity crisis. Maybe Frozen is a way for them to finally come up with a new solution to design and marketing the park. From 24.5.122.118 on July 18, 2014 at 1:25 PM There's a ton of room behind and next to Norway to keep the cultural and historic aspects of Norway in its current form intact, while expanding to include and idealized "Arendale" type land or attraction attached to the current pavilion. So where's the option to vote for doing both? If the new Ratatouille ride proves anything it's you can have a fictional character set in a real world setting still done tastefully. Why not here? Personal Note: It'll be sad to see the merchandise get axed though. Norway has some of, if not the best clothing at the Pavilions. It's not all gimmicky or tacky T-Shirts, its clothing you can wear without looking or feeling like a total tourist. From Daniel Etcheberry on July 18, 2014 at 1:46 PM Change Maelstrom into Beowulf. From Robert Niles on July 18, 2014 at 2:02 PM FWIW, I think the Frozen conversation is a done deal, but I wanted to see if there was any popular support among readers for alternatives. Ultimately, I think the next question will be: Does Disney still call the refurbished pavilion "Norway," or does it abandon that title altogether and call the pavilion "Arendelle"? From Anon Mouse on July 18, 2014 at 2:25 PM For Disney to show respect for Norway, they just won't call it Norway anymore or Arendelle as that doesn't make sense either. You might see Arendelle in the new ride. They will call it "Anne and Elsa's Frozen palace and ride", or something like that. It is disappointing that they will reduce the country count by 1, but perhaps we will get a new country replacement instead. Akershus will still exist as a character meal with Anna and Elsa as the featured characters with some other popular characters like Kristoff and Olaf. Maybe they will have a "Let It Go" sing-a-long in mid-meal. They currently have a princess processional, which is quite fun. From James Rao on July 18, 2014 at 4:02 PM If it is a done deal, Robert, I guess I can live with it. Eventually all the pavilions will probably get a Disney-fied update and the World Showcase will be reborn as a series of fantasy lands from the many popular Disney properties. While not my preference, it is a better solution than having the World Showcase remain stagnant. From 71.226.212.128 on July 18, 2014 at 3:26 PM I would prefer a Tangled Kingdom in the middle of the EPCOT lake and re-theme ALL the EPCOT countries to Disney Major Movies. Tangled on an island in the middle, Aladdin in Morocco, Ratatouille in France, Brave could work well in Canada, Arendel could be in Norway, Lion King in Africa, etc. Then you can trave from Kingdom to Kingdom seeing the characters. My only concern is Walt did not want EPCOT to be a Theme Park, but a vision of the future. But...times do chance. From Rob McCullough on July 18, 2014 at 3:27 PM So, let?s say it is a done deal. My feeling is it needs to be a complete recreation of the ride. Maelstrom is such a unique track with the lift at the start, two stops with directional changes and the backwards motion it?s hard to imagine how they would shoehorn the Frozen story onto that building?so I?d like to throw that out to the other folks posting here. If you were Disney Imagineering, and unable to change any of the ride system at all, how would you tell Frozen?s story with the current ride? And?Go! From 76.94.56.12 on July 18, 2014 at 5:29 PM Refurbish the Norway pavilion. Keeping it Norway. But re theme maelstrom to a frozen theme. From 75.89.233.236 on July 18, 2014 at 9:04 PM Having a Frozen ride in the Norway Pavilion is not a big deal, but don't start doing mythical pavilions in the World Showcase. It would kind of deteriorate the credibility of the whole concept of the World Showcase. Insider's Update: What's New At A Park Near You?

Legends of Frontierland mapInsider's Update: What's new at a park near you? Written by Robert Niles Published: July 12, 2014 at 10:32 AM The big attraction openings continued this past week, as Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy debuted officially on Thursday at Walt Disney Studios Paris, following the official opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida on Tuesday. This Tuesday, July 15, the party moves to Osaka, where The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will make its Asian debut at Universal Studios Japan. Keep watching Theme Park Insider for coverage. Busch Gardens Tampa is opening an attraction, too, and it's coming to the park's new Pantopia land. It's not the long-delayed Falcon's Fury, though. The new attraction is Opening Night Critters , a live show featuring a cast of rescued domestic and exotic animals, playing in the Pantopia Theater (formerly the Timbuktu Theater, which housed several 4D shows over the years). Here's a preview, from the park: Busch Gardens' parent SeaWorld announced this week that it is switching to a new type of refillable cup at all its SeaWorld and Busch Gardens theme parks. The recyclable "PlantBottle" plastic in the cups replaces traditional petroleum-based resins with natural sugars found in plants. SeaWorld said that the switch "is expected to remove 35 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually -- the equivalent of saving more than 80 barrels of oil a year." Disneyland this week opened its new interactive experience, Legends of Frontierland: Gold Rush! , where park guests role-play a land war between the residents of Frontierland and nearby Rainbow Ridge. Designed to appeal to a generation whose idea of entertainment is defined more by multiplayer online video games than passively watching a screen, Legends of Frontierland is Walt Disney Imagineering's latest attempt at expanding the idea of what a theme park attraction can be. Here's an interesting analysis , and we will have more coverage of this massive multiplayer offline role-playing game in the weeks to come. A map of gameplay locations for Legends of Frontierland, from Disney Unfortunate news from Walt Disney World: Pirates of the Caribbean claimed another couple of fingertips this week, as a British tourist was injured when he was holding on to the outside of the boat. The man lost the tips of his ring and pinky fingers. This is why they tell you to "keep your hands and arms inside the boat at all times," everyone. On Pirates, as well as Small World and many other boat rides, the boats are contained on the course by underwater metal flume walls on either side of the boats. Horizontal wheels underneath the boats ride along those flume walls and if your fingers or anything else comes between the boat and the flume wall, well, you're going to lose them. This isn't "magic," it's mechanics. Please, please, please, listen to and follow the safety rules , everyone. No one wants anyone to get hurt. We wish this tourist the best possible recovery. Finally, construction of a proposed Paramount theme park outside London could begin as early as 2016 for a summer 2019 opening, according to a public presentation by the park's backers this past week. The £2 billion project would include a Paramount theme park, a water park, movie theaters, shops, sporting facilities and 5,000 hotel rooms on a site on the Swanscombe Peninsula, on the Thames River east of London. Full details on the proposal are due in October, and the project still needs public money for substantial local infrastructure development, as well as overall government approval, to go forward. Readers' Opinions From Robert Niles on July 12, 2014 at 10:36 AM By the way, if I read one more article trying to diminish Diagon Alley by claiming it is " one ride and seven shops ," I'm going to scream. (By the way, that's not the only error in the linked article.) More accurate reporting might describe Universal's Diagon Alley expansion instead as three rides (Gringotts, the Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross to Hogsmeade, and the Hogwarts Express from Hogsmeade to Kings Cross), four shows (Tales of Beedle the Bard, Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees, the Ollivander's show, and the "Turtle Talk"-style Gringotts Money Exchange), and three places to eat and drink (The Leaky Cauldron, Florean Fortescue's, and the Hopping url Pot beverage bar), plus those seven shops. And people wonder why newspapers are dying. As a former newspaper employee, I see much more accurate reporting from independent online publications than I see from most newspapers, especially from general assignment reporters. It pays to actually know a beat. From James Rao on July 12, 2014 at 11:31 AM I think the "one ride" issue for DA stems from the fact that Gringotts is the attraction receiving most, if not all, the buzz, and it is the only attraction experiencing significant waits. Combine those six hour waits with all the tweets and posts about operations issues, downtime, and non-functioning effects and it leads to misinformation. Since everyone is talking about the Gringotts issues, uninformed mainstream news people think it is the only ride. And since it's "just an amusement park" who cares about doing that extra little bit of research to get the facts? Just one more reason to get your theme park news from TPI instead of the mainstream media! So, when did Paramount decide to get back in the theme park business? You think they will learn from their past failures and emerge as a major player? Their parks had some great ideas, they just didn't maintain them. Will be an interesting story to follow... From 173.170.103.20 on July 12, 2014 at 12:15 PM This is in answer to James Rao's question: "when did Paramount decide to get back in the theme park business?" The short answer is: they didn't. Paramount's intellectual property is being licensed by the developers of the proposed London theme park, London Resort Company Holdings. This is much like the defunct Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, S.C., was not a development of the Seminole Indian tribe, owners of the Hard Rock brand, but a licensed property. I'm pretty sure Robert can correct this, but I think Paramount owner Viacom intends to stay out of the theme park business. Brian From Rod Whitenack on July 12, 2014 at 1:52 PM I, for one, think we all will be done a great disservice when traditional print media and newspapers ultimately cease to exist. In the meantime, I hope that schools and higher learning institutions start teaching courses and offering certifiable degrees in online journalism because it has been quickly taken over by the loudest, least trained writers with no real background or discipline other than their own innate and unshakable confidence in themselves. However, due to the fact that most journalists are now earning less than full time McDonald's employees, the slide in quality and caring was bound to happen. The difference between a website like TPI and a major newspaper is that TPI is written and edited by folks who truly love and know the theme park business while a newspaper article on a theme park is likely written by a 20-something who is being paid by the word and needs to turn in his story as quickly as possible and get on to the next one if he wants to pay the rent and eat this month. From James Rao on July 12, 2014 at 2:20 PM Thanks for the clarification, Brian. So does the park have access to all Paramount films... I mean, can they make an Indiana Jones ride since Paramount distributed Raiders of the Lost Ark? From 173.170.103.20 on July 12, 2014 at 4:33 PM James Rao wrote: "So does the park have access to all Paramount films... I mean, can they make an Indiana Jones ride since Paramount distributed Raiders of the Lost Ark?" Absolutely, as long as Disney (who owns the Indiana Jones IP) agrees to the license. As far as the other Paramount properties, it's up to the terms of the license agreement. Robert's written about this topic fairly extensively. Brian From 173.170.103.20 on July 12, 2014 at 4:40 PM Rod Whitenack wrote: "I, for one, think we all will be done a great disservice when traditional print media and newspapers ultimately cease to exist." Thanks for the nice compliment. As a veteran print journalist, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'll take one exception, though: we aren't paid by the word. Most fulltime newspaper reporters and editors earn a salary. Although inexperienced ones are indeed paid poorly initially, experience changes this quite nicely. Brian From James Rao on July 12, 2014 at 6:32 PM ^"Absolutely, as long as Disney (who owns the Indiana Jones IP) agrees to the license." So, the answer is no, since Disney isn't about to part with their $4B baby. ;) From 65.87.190.248 on July 12, 2014 at 8:46 PM So, that will be 3 Star Trek rides plan outside the U.S. One in Spain, another for the Red Sea, and now UK. I wonder what timeline they will use. Either the new movies or old series. Just to recap CBS & Paramount are separated, so only Paramount can use the movies & CBS can license the TV shows. I ask a former Star Trek insider about the UK Trek ship mode to see if they using TV or movies. Seems like they keeping it vague either waiting for Spain to be builted there's to copy or going with TV version. Still, why can there be plans for Star Trek here most likely with Universal I hope. And don't give me any guff that Trek is too old now. Same can be said of Indiana Jones. There's no new movies, but they made Billions. Same as Trek, it's made Billions but there's a 50th coming and like to see this either announce for UK and America Trek ride. Miroslav Klose's Record Doesn't Take Away From Ronaldo's Achievements - Sbnation.com

Large_sb_nation_final Seven? What on earth happened there then?" Only probably in German. While Ronaldo the original one has been nothing but gracious about his record being broken, there has been a fair amount of kvetching from others about the appropriateness of somebody like Klose taking the record of somebody like Ronaldo. Two main objections seem to dominate this line of thought. The first is that Ronaldo is one of the greatest and most exhilarating strikers ever to run really quickly past a load of defenders before poking the ball past the keeper, over and over again, whereas Klose is, well, a bit unglamorous. A bit dull, if we're being frank. Secondly, Ronaldo's World Cup story follows an romantic arc of hope, tragedy and redemption, from the joys of most of France '98, through that tournament's cruel and inexplicable final, and then on into 2002 when he got a silly haircut, exorcised his demons and lifted the trophy. Conversely, Klose's World Cups have lacked the Disney: turn up, score a handful, get knocked out at some point, repeat. Not only that, but his hair has been defiantly sensible throughout. Basically, Ronaldo is the goalscorer as hero, whereas Klose is the goalscorer as accountant. But what accountants know better than anyone is that a goal is worth precisely one goal, whether it's the greatest of all time or it's bounced off a shin from three yards out.

This is great for you early planners since the event starts the night after Thanksgiving (November 28) and runs through December 30. We also have a partial list of celebrity narrators including Candlelight veterans Whoopi Goldberg and Jodi Benson , and two fabulous new narrators ? For those of you unfamiliar with the event, it?s a gorgeous re-telling of the Christmas story with a celebrity narrator each night and seasonal music from a massed choir and huge orchestra. The event started at Disneyland park in the 1958 with Walt Disney himself. At Walt Disney World Resort, it?s presented at the America Gardens Theater at Epcot, a beautiful venue, especially when all decked out for the holidays. I?ve had the honor of being in the cast choir ? you know the folks in the green Christmas tree robes ? for six years. I thought it was a magical experience watching this program. Little did I know that being on stage, a part of it, would be even more. I?ve had a chance to sing along side actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Gary Sinise, and gospel legends like Amy Grant and Steven Curtis Chapman, who is back again this year.
